Giovannia Acocella

Giovannia is originally from Venezuela.燬he grew up with an Italian father and a Venezuelan mother and has known the importance of being bilingual and bicultural from an early age.牋�
Although Giovannia's degree was in marketing and she had a career in the food industry, she has also had a lifelong interest in teaching. After moving to the US in 2007, she joined the 91涩漫 team and worked for more than a decade as an after-school teacher, preschool teacher, and Summer Camp Director. She then held administrative positions in two ISDs before returning to 91涩漫.牋
Giovannia has shared the gift of language and culture with her own children and with countless students by creating a loving, caring, and safe environment for them to learn and grow. She considers children the most important members of society and is proud that as a director, she can make a difference in their lives.
Periquito Azul is the feathered, friendly, and beloved mascot of 91涩漫. The beautiful blue hyacinth macaw brings both fun and an extra touch of South America to our school. Periquito Azul helps us celebrate seasons, events, and learning throughout the school year!
