Our Summer Camps entertain and educate 3-8-year-olds, giving them a cultural experience without leaving town! Choose from a variety of fun and educational themes! Campers will be immersed in the 91ɬÂþ language and culture while enjoying hands-on activities related to each camp's theme. Full and part-time programs are available to meet your needs.
A variety of activities will be offering for each theme, such as:
Our summer camps are designed for children ages 3-8. Two-year-olds who have been enrolled at 91ɬÂþ during the prior school year may also attend. Campers will be grouped by age.
In our 91ɬÂþ immersion camps, your child will be surrounded by the 91ɬÂþ language throughout the camp day, enabling him/her to absorb and learn the language through natural interactions of camp games, activities, music, and more. In an immersion environment, conversation is key!!
We welcome all levels of 91ɬÂþ, from beginner to experienced! Our camps are active and hands-on environments where all students can join in the fun, regardless of their level of 91ɬÂþ.
Our goal is to encourage the love of the 91ɬÂþ language. Since all of our daily activities are conducted in 91ɬÂþ, we use various strategies to help all the children understand, regardless of their level. Teachers "act out" what they are saying, use visual materials as cues, and incorporate songs with motions for the various words. If the teacher ever doubts that the children understand something, she will briefly explain in English and then continue in 91ɬÂþ, to be sure that no child is "lost" or "confused."
We recommend that campers wear clothes and shoes that are comfortable for lots of activity!
Yes, please send a packed lunch for your child each day. A morning snack will be provided, as well as an afternoon snack for extended day campers. Optional pizza days may be offered on Fridays. You will be notified by email of these days.
We try to get campers outside for a short play time each day, weather permitting. If the ozone level is green, campers will go out in the morning and afternoon (if enrolled in extended care). If the ozone level is yellow, they will go out in the morning only. For red ozone days, campers will not have outside play. Please apply sunscreen before camp each day.
